New to scorpions

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and to the hobby as well. I'm looking to get my first scorpion but I've had no luck finding any for purchase. Local pet stores don't have any and I'm not sure of any other way to go about finding one. I'd love to find a P. Imperator. Does anyone have any suggestions, also I'm located in Louisville, KY? And hopefully I posted this in the right place.

A lot of species for sale online , try local reptile shows , or try face book arachnid groups. Good Luck!

Do you know of a reputable site? I've heard horrible things about places like backwater reptiles. Thanks for the help!

P. imperator is hard to come across. I'd shoot for something in the genus Heterometrus for now since they're much more commonly available (and cheaper too!). They also look very similar to Pandinus. Avoid Backwater Reptiles and LLL Reptile isn't great either. If you keep an eye on the Classifieds section here on AB you'll see things pop up every now and then.
