New tarantula problems

Hello. I recently got a tarantula from someone who I think may not have been taking the best care of them and they're acting kinda odd. My other tarantula tends to stand most of the time but this one lays completely on the ground almost always. They also have a small wound on their abdomen. The second picture is the best I could get of the wound. Or what I think is a wound. I've had them for a little over a week but I can't get them to even react to food. I'm not even sure what kind it is. They said it might be a red leg or a fire leg. Any help or suggestions at all would be appreciated. 20210504_133859.jpg 20210504_133918.jpg

It looks like a Brachypelma emilia to me.

If it is recently acquired / housed tarantula, give at least weeks to settle in.

I do not see any particular signs of abnormalities in the pictures.

Your B. emelia looks fine and healthy...not eating is virtually never a problem. Hard to see the whole abdomen, but it looks plenty plump to me.....plump ts have zero need for food.

I think I see what you're talking about. Is it possible to get a clearer photo of the area?
