I have just set this tank up for a versi that is arriving soon.
Is there enough ventilation with the screen lid or should there be some in the sides for the air to flow through.
Thanks
Chid

This is the shot of the screen lid with the mesh hot glued in place.

That's more than enough for air flow. I would cover about half or more of it up to help keep the humidity up a little.

We just took out P. fasciata out of almost the exact same set-up. It provided plenty of ventilation. We kept the pokie in there through several molts with just a waterdish and had no problems.

chid,
Thats a really sharp looking tank.
Is that a heating pad on the back of it?

Yes ,its a heat pad,I use them on all my tanks.I would like to heat a room for my spiders but i cant so i have to use the heat mats.

Gillian
The size of the tank is 7.5 litres (2 us gallons)
Side to side : 25cm
Front to back : 17cms
Overall height : 36cm
Water container depth :22cm

I have a larger one the same only 15 litre (4 us gallons) for when the spider grows.

I glued the mesh in the top and the whole top lifts off ,its like a frame around the top off the tank and a nice tight fit.
