new snake on the block

just picked up this striped king snake today. i've been looking at it and debating the inevitable for some time now...but i finally went and got it. so far it seems pretty melow and is slithering around checking out its new home. this is only my third reptile now...i have two corn snakes as well. here are a few pics i took today.

Really cool! Gotta be fun to watch it explore. I like its pattern. Reminds me of fresh lines painted on a highway

it was 40 bucks. not the cheapest snake i've bought, not the most expensive. once it settled in and found its hiding spot, i haven't seen it since..i'm almost tempted to lift my guess as to what its hide is to make sure its there hah. but i'm basically sure its not out. i'm just paranoid. i have some of those lid clamps on there...its pain enough to take them off for myself...
