New slings are here..

My slings have arrived along with my freebie from Swifts. The slings all look well and I am happy with the transaction. I was thinking the suntiger was going to be bigger but I am happy with everything.

How big of prey can a 1/2-1" sling eat? Kelly included some pinheads along with the slings but I was hoping I could get them to eat small 1/4 -1/3 inch crickets, what do you think? I have placed the slings in large petpals and will mist them when I get them home. I think I will wait to see if they survive before I place them on my signature line.

I am now going to look for a larger A Versi and maybe another Pokie.

It depends on the aggressiveness level of the sling, but slings can and do take down prey almost as large as themselves. If these guys are an inch, there should be no problem with them taking prey 1/2 inch or less.

I hate pinhead crickets they are so freaking small!! I guess I better get some fruit flies in the house.
