A. metallica new enclosure. Ok so then- I have the usual dilemma of deciding
if it's just old webbing or mold ? So To me the enclosure smelled stale so I changed it . easy right ? I think she's in premolt but not sure - any how - How do you think the new enclosure fits the T ? Never used a coat hanger before but I just worked all night and did this on the fly . So what you think ?

Personally I would use a long skinny piece of corkbark, just due to the fact that it will have way more surface area for the spider to anchor its webbing to.

Looks good to me. It could have even fit in the smaller container, but now shes got room to grow for a couple molts, which is always convenient.
Whats that at the top of the enclosure?

Also, you might want to add some cross ventilation around the middle of the cup. I just heat the tip of a big paper clip with a lighter then melt maybe a dozen holes around the circumference of the cup. I'm assuming there are already holes in the lid.

Yes there are holes in the lid. The small container was the nasty old one I just moved her from ! The thing at the top is a fake leaf, just like you said Brettg something to anchor and hide on, She looks a lil freaked but ok I guess, Only cork bark I have are huge slivers. maybe I'll change it but I really don't want to disturbe her more than necessary. idk she's on the floor now ..... dammit .

As long as it has adequate space to anchor webbing to it will be fine.

You want alot more ventilation mate, otherwise the air inside will go stagnant and will encourage mold to grow.

Sweet thank you all for the input. I fixed the ventilation issue, maybe why I always thought it was stale ?
So I also cleaned out my the enclosure and rehomed my Irminia sling in it, which I assure you I was not wanting to do. However that was the easiest transfer ever ! I still don't know how big it is !!
