Thanks for all your help answering my sand boa questions! Well, I just got back from the show and here she is: my new anery kenyan sand boa, Annabelle. It's a crappy pic but the best I could snap before my camera battery died. I'll post more eventually but I just wanted to show her off. :D

By the way, I held her when I got her home and this is seriously the nicest, calmest snake I've ever seen. She's won my heart away from the corns! And I also saw a beautiful albino that I'd like to pick up next time. :D

Call me strange but I'm not a fan of the anery's. Though I got luck at the White plains show and pick up a yellow and black male.

Such a cutie! I love my sand boa to death :D I've always wanted an anery, hopefully someday I can get one. I want to breed snakes eventually but until I'm done with college, I can't even have them as pets (legally) so they're staying home. Getting things over the border seems like quite a hassle. (I live in the US but im going to college in Canada).

Good luck with the lil guy, they're certainly amazingly adorable docile snakes. Except at feeding time ;)

Be warned, sand boas are addicting. I started with one, as my first snake, back about 10 years ago. Back then, Kenyans (E. c. love.) and Egpytian (E. c.) were considered separate subspecies.

I still have my little porky, but have added a few different morphs (axanthic, amelanistic, amelanistic paradox) to my collection.

If you like Kenyans, you might want to add a E. johni (brown sand boa) to your list.
