So I got a phidippus regius on Wednesday and it was fully exploring the enclosure, it went on the ground for a bit and couldn't see it for a couple hours but eventually went back onto the sides/top. I left it to do its thing and in the evening I had seen it had started webbing in between 2 fake leaves that are in the enclosure. It has sat in the exact spot with minimal movement since then, the webbing has gotten thicker every day and I tried to dangle a cricket in front of her this morning and she was uninterested.

Here are pictures of the position she is in, they are the best I could get without disrupting her too much.

yes shes molting. be sure to mist every day or even twice if you see its drying out fast. they prefer 80% humidity to molt. no food until 24 hours after shes come out! hope its a fast easy molt for you both ^^

Yes it is moltbg. it will come out when it’s ready, likely not before that.

Thank you guys, I was 90% sure that was the case. Was just doubting myself and my research lol.
