My A. Gen. molted . I bought her as a confirmed female but would like to be able to look at the shed skin,(which is already dry), to see if I can tell for myself what to look for in a female. I have read you can soften the molt with water and dish washing liquid, does anyone have any thoughts on how much of each ? do I saturate the molt or what ? Thanks in advance

I tried dried molts from months ago with just water and it seemed to work pretty good.

Yea water would be just fine. With really old molts I just find a container with little or no holes in it then put a moist paper towl at the bottom, then lay the molt on the paper towl and mist it a bit with water. Leave it over night and in the morning you should have a molt that you can move to any position you want.
