Not if your male had hooks.

I can imagine that a female C. fasciatum could be sexually mature at 2.5", considering that 3-4" is full size. I bet that she'll continue to grow.

Well, if I were to size her traditionally she would not be 2.5". Her leg span is maybe 2" normal.

I don't know if the male had hooks or not. He was bigger than her though.

Well thankfully this thread was resurrected. I was wondering why my supposed C. fasciatum were so much smaller than ones I've heard and seen.

My female that's currently holding a sac is 2.5" if I'm being generous. The male that matured and was eaten was 3"

I've had a "hobby C. fasciatum" eggsac from a female that was about 1.75" in DLS... have had males that were barely 2" when mature and others that were 4".
