Just to let you know, as far as I know, there's no such thing as Pterinochilus meridionalis anymore. It was moved into Ceratogyrus. So you actually have Ceratogyrus meridionalis
Congrats! I haven't kept that Pterinocholus species yet, but the H. gigas is one of my favorite tarantulas ever. I have one right now that's about the same size as your sling and it's an amazing hunter. It will jump out of its burrow and grab moths from the air.
I use CM's water crystal trick with mine and it seems to work really well for keeping the humidity up.
