Got a GBB sling last week. Thought about rehousing him immediately, but it molted the day after I got it, so I just gave him some time to harden up. Now that it is eating again, I am thinking about rehousing him.

You can see some pictures about its current home. Note that this is the enclosure I bought it from the store. I think it is too big, also there isnt enough substrate

-My questions are: Is a rehouse necessary? If yes, what are the reasons? Why is a too big enclosure bad for it?
-another topic: what are the suggestions regarding moisture in case of a GBB sling? Currently I am lightly spraying one corner weekly.

Also, if there is anything besides the basic stuff I should know about them, let me know. I would like to hear your experiences

I would say, no need. Your Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens can safely stay in there for one or two, even three or four molts.

However, I would add a lot more ventilation holes around the enclosure if I were you.

As you can see they manage fine without additional objects/clutter and will make a web castle regardless. I would worry about rehousing in a molt or two, its fine in there for now...these do grow fast though so you can always have something ready in advance.
