I just got my firstly emperor scorpion today and I am really scared I already killed it. It is curled up against the side of the tank in a weird position. It moves a little bit in reaction to blowing on it, but I haven't tried to touch it yet. I have been having an issue with temp, so I moved the heat pad on the side to the bottom to try to help. I only have one thermometer and it is on the top at the opposite of the pad so I am not even sure if the temperature recorded is right. It says it's only 68 which is far below normal. What should I do?

Pandinus imperator needs higher temperatures than the 60s. Not to mention the stress it is under from transport.

Fix the temperature issue, ensure it has proper humidity, temps, , and ample substrate to burrow, and leave it alone to settle in.

And stop blowing on it.

Ditch the heat pad or put it on the side if necessary.
Post some pics of the setup.

What is the ambient room temperature?
