Requesting ideas, suggestions on creating a communal setup with some smaller scorpions; maybe centruroides or tityus spp. Color a plus, and make notes of hot species, if applicable.

[edit]Just to clarify, I'm talking ~2-3cm. Disregard the hot issue.

you live in Texas...you could probably find a fair number of C. Excluidia there. Probably C. Vittatus as well. Depending on where you are they might be more xeric and tan coloured. But they are small (3" or less) and good communally. C. Ex would be hotter than C.Vit for sure, but just keep your hand out;)

any Tytius would be really good as far as I know, and usually are good in the colour department, but are all on the hot side.

You could look at C. Margaritatus, they arent as social as the other Centruroides, but with enough space they get along just fine. Mine simply stay at opposite sides of the tank usually. Very rich colours though.

I dont think he'll find any of those in TX.

Any Tityus sp would fit the bill perfectly. They're hot sp be careful

Leaning towards C. hentzi, or T. stigmurus, and would like suggestions beyond that. Maybe a Lychas spp, or T. falconensis.

I forgot about Hentzi, I'd like some of those as well. Good choice, and good luck.

Lychas would be great. I'll be having another 2 batches of T falconensis very soon.
