My tarantula was spinning while eating, which I've never seen before, but I just recently got him from an emergent rehoming. Tonight he ate a small Dubai roach fast, so I decided to give him another, but this one was more medium size. I dropped it into his web and he launched onto it so fast and then proceeded to rotate continuously. Can someone explain this to me?

Also how many roaches should I give him in a feeding? I usually do one because as I said, I just got him and he's been warming up to feeding, but tonight I did two, but I'm positive he'd eat another if I offered. Should I?

Normal behavior

Don’t ration food, feed until no longer hungry.

Happy dance is life.
Happy dance is love.

Can someone explain this to me?
Sometimes they lay down web around them while they eat.
They'll web up the prey with it - but its also assumed to be "tripwires" so they can't get snuck up on with their pants down.
