Awesome. I need pictures!
What i think it is, is a revision that puts 20 existing species into a new Genus, giving them new names.

Cryptoforis (presumably ex-Euoplos) Variabilis (this one makes semi-thick lids but flat against the ground). I may be wrong about this and it could indeed be staying in the old genus

Euoplos Turrificus, one of the species that stays, as it constructs palisades 1-3" high above the ground

I heard this was coming up but i didnt know the name of the new genus. Cryptoforis is a very cool sounding name, cant wait to relabel some of mine as i have both lineages mentioned in the article
Had a feeling you would have them, and would be interested, that's why I posted it :)

Everyone, i stand corrected. This new genus (Cryptoforis) is indeed an entirely new genus with 20 newly named species. Only 2 species from Euoplos (Tasmanicus and Victoriensis) are being shifted to Cryptoforis. As i now live in Victoria, i may be able to locate the latter and upload some direct comparisons between each genus if theres interest. I apologize for the above incorrect assumption

@RezonantVoid Forget the apology. The big deal is you have a front row seat at a discovery and description convention and we get the low down on the events, with a photo essay tossed in!

Just remembered this thread again, i have been able to acquire Cryptoforis Hughesae. I will take some photos of the 2 genus side by side soon. To my understanding, Euoplos construct thicker plug lids, and Cryptoforis make thin flaps
