Keep the temps in the 75-80° range. Moist but not over saturated substrate. Using a "bio" style terrarium can be beneficial to help with humidity with added hydo balls and a layer of mesh over it to help filter water to the bottom. 5-6inches of substrate to burrow. A mix of sphagnum moss/Peat moss ( which ever ), a chemical free topsoil, I add sand some times in areas. Foliage to create coverage to roam comfortably. A nice hide that sticks a couple inches in the ground helps a beginning burrow and has a lesser chance of collapse. No bottom heat cause they are sitters and like to hang in one spot primarily. Side heated mats with lower wattage or IR bulbs work well. IR stimulates growth, molting and overall health and metabolism. I cover the sides of my tanks with vinyl so the world dosent seem so big for them. Scorpions are tight space creatures and like crevices. Also keep in mind to not have heavy objects over potential burrow areas so it dosent sink and collapse and killing your scorpion. The don't need much light since they will be mainly out at night foraging so don't stress on lighting much at all other then for viewing pleasure. I feed mine crickets, meal worms, wax worms, dubia roaches. They will take as much as they need or want.
