S.alternans are very good looking pedes (one of my fav. spec.),
but to my experience also the ones that hide the most,... very shy spec.

For now, they are active like all the young pedes, but problably you have reason, they are buried maybe more time than the other pedes I had.

In other hand, there are a controversial info in the net abaout the size of this pede. Whats is the real sice when this pede become an adult?
