Just got two new kids, including a 2.5-3" A. geniculata and my first Poecilotheria (1" P. regalis). Woo!
In typical genic fashion it wasted no time and demolished a couple crickets about 2 hours after I got it housed.
Now I know what people mean when they say you have to experience a Pokie's speed to believe it. This thing was a spring loaded jack in the box right out of the gate. Luckily I was unwrapping it within its new enclosure so I didn't have to worry about corralling it...but it did a few laps around its deli cup in about .1 seconds. I have psalmos but this kid was even faster.
