Hi! I got this beauty yesterday. First thing she did was starting to molt. During the night she's made a nice web in my window/plants/curtain.
I thought these can only be found in sub-saharan Africa and in the Gambia area. I know there are tons of Nephila sp. in Fl, but senegalensis? Nah, free-range orb weavers are great. I had a nice A. aurantica living in my computer room last year. They just stay in their web and wait for you to feed them. Totally harmless.Originally posted by Deliverme314
