No offense, but that thing is just too creepy looking for me! I guess I'm just a wuss. Excellent pictures though!

Nephilas are pretty harmless. They make their web and then they stay there. Even though you might handle them(not recomended!!! Even though I do.. ) it's not likely they will bite. I think their are one of the coolest spiders. I'm about to get some slings as well, and then I'll have Nephilas in every window...;P

What do you feed yours? Mine eats roaches, crickets, mealworms and everyting that isn't to large.
