I saw a picture of this cool lookin spider in a Texas field guide at a bookstore and looks interesting. Not too much info on it if googled. Has anyone out there kept any of these? Or any info on them?

TIA

hi,
although they don´t look like orbweavers, they actually are. Hersiliidae (the family Neotama sp. belong to) usually build their orb web around a tree, only a few cm away from the bark. Therefore their web is not often recognized.
