Hello again. I'm still new to keeping jumping spiders and especially wolf spiders as pets. Prior to now, my experience was with tarantulas and even that being limited. That being said, is there anyone here familiar with the habits of Tigrosa Annexa wolf spiders or have information on them? About a week ago, I caught a 7 legged male and caught the female about a day afterward. I have seen the male out a couple times, but it's not consistent, and I have seen where he burrows. The female I haven't seen since I put her in her enclosure. It looks like they're both eating well as the food disappears after a while lol. There is a chance the female may have bred before I caught her as she was around some males when I found her. I've tried looking online, but I can't find much on them. If anyone is familiar with this particular species of wolf spider, I could definitely use more information on them. For example, are they nocturnal or do they hunt during the day? Is it normal for them to stay burrowed most of the time, etc? Their enclosures consist of a mixed substrate of creature soil, forest floor, and a little sand. They have places to hide and I make sure to sprits a little water on the inside every once in a while. I appreciate any information on these little guys. Thanks in advance.

If it was an adult female when you caught it, it has probably mated with a male. They are very common in yards and are very adaptable. I find them in burrows but also find them just wandering, they are nocturnal.

Is there a way to tell where they burrow? I want to keep an eye on her in case she does eventually have an egg sac. I've tried looking into their enclosures at different times at night and have only seen the male out on occasion. Is there anything else I need to know about them?

I haven’t kept them in captivity, just seen them outside, but if they get hungry, they’ll come out of their burrow. I would just keep checking it at night, trying to not cause too much movement. If they feel movement they’ll hide.
