A few days ago i found a small spider in my kitchen here in norway. It appears to be a mature male, with a legspan of about 3/5".
It has a white stripe on its carapace (from the pedipalps to the abdomen) and a pattern not unlike certain T's (H. Macultata) on the abdomen.
It's not a very good climber, very docile but quite fast. Can anyone help?
It's too small to get a decent pic ...

...legspan of about 3/5"... mature male ...unlike certain T's
I'm confused :? , you say that it's a 3/5th on an inch, and that it was a mature male, and a T(arantula). But I just don't know of any full grown mature male Tarantulas that are 3/5''. I think it would be awfuly small for an adult theraphosid... but since I don't know how small the smallest T recorded is I could be wrong.

I don't recall saying that it was a tarantula, but if it seemed that way, then whops! It was just a normal spider, fast as lightning (it managed to escape into my jumper, and has not been seen since).
