Hey Guys

I have owned my red knee for around a year and a half and its been great, recently however he has developed a bald spot on his rump which has just got bigger and bigger. At first i just thought it may be where he had been kicking his hairs which he has done in the past but on those occassions there has only been the tiniest little patch. He only molted around 3 months ago so he is certainly not due another for a while. If anyone has seen this before or has an idea what may be causing this please get in contact with me asap.

Thanks

Has he been stressed lately? Have there been any changes to his enclosure or anything? He could just be kicking more than usual, creating a larger bald spot. I wouldn't be too concerned.

It's definately from kicking hairs. He is obviously stressed by something. Examine his enclosure thouroughly and look for mites or something that may be bothering him.
