need help with id

does this look like a dolomedes?i cant figure it out.
spider is little smaller than an inch.found in connecticut.brought this little guy home so will try and get some better shots of eye structure and what not soon.

I can almost make out the eye pattern. The carapace shape and the abdomen pattern as well as the legs look like Dolomedes to me.

Make sure you give it vertical space to cling to and molt. Also damp substrate for humidity.

All the Dolomedes I get like to flatten themselves onto a vertical surface and spread their legs out. If the head is at 6 o'clock, legs I & II are together at 5 & 7 o'clock, legs III are at 9:30 & 2:30, legs IV at 11 & 1.

hey thanks for the reply.i housed it in a large tall vial with some moss for climbing and moist substrate earlier.wondering if this could be tenebrosus or scriptus?the abdominal patterns are kinda throwing me off here

pretty sure this is tenebrosus.looking real nice after a molt

wow, beautiful. i'm no really into true spiders :rolleyes:, i only have 2 l. emuncta, but this specimen is nice enough that i'd like to get one...
