Need help with ID of this spider

    I was on vecation in sothern part of Croatia (central Europe)

    did you notice that the second pic had 2 spiders in it? I like the red one as much. Sorry, I can't help on the ID. good luck.

    Gotta be an araneid... maybe Araneus sp but can't really tell for sure, plus it's not an American species so I'm pretty clueless about what you guys have in Europe :p
     
  6. it is Araneus diadematus probably most common orb weaver in Europe and in Balkans. Red on is also Araneus but i can't tell you what species

    small one looks like N arabesca and the bigger one looks more like A nordmanni
