G. pulchripes. They get large, have stunning colors, and are very docile.
A. geniculata gets large, and along with N. chromatis, and N. coloratovillosus they all have great contrasting colors.

I'm with Chris on this one.....

My G. pulchripes is awesome and a big girl with a killer appetite....Very docile and has never flicked hairs

The Nhandu genus seems to be a little more skittish but if you were not wanting to handle it wouldn't matter anyways

But it really depends on if you want Terrestial or Arboreal.....

Lots of striking colors for both types......

Any of the Pokies would work for you.......They get rather large and their coloring and patterns are breathtaking

It all depends on how much you want to spend!

I. hirsutum & Avic. diversipipes are supposed to be like Avics on crack. P. irminia are colorful & have attitude.

Agreed...Pokes are the way to go...regalis, fasciata, ornata are all pretty inexpensive too!

I think Pokies fit your bill as well. Ornata and rufilata are very pretty and not as expensive as P.metallica. Regalis and fasciata have some very bright warning yellow-and-black on their front legs.

Psalmopoeus cambridgei are the larger of the Psalmos - 'bout 6"-7" for a female. They are kind of green, especially after a molt and have an attitude.
