I have decided to switch to roaches but I dont know what to get. I do however have some guidelines:

-Has to have an adult size of at least 1.25"
-Has to be REALLY easy to breed and keep.
-Cant be able to climb glass.
-I would like to pay like 30 shipped for more than 100.

All I need now is a roach that fits the bill and where I can get some. Thanks in advance for the help.

Pick any three of your four guidelines :D

Lobster roaches can be had within your budget, but can climb smooth surfaces.

Dubias will put you a bit over that budget but fit the bill for your other 3 guidelines

Personally, I'd go with the Dubias. I have a new colony and they are great so far. You can get 100 mixed nymphs and four or five pairs of adults for about $40 + shipping at:

This is pretty close to your stated budget...

Blaptica dubia will fit the bill
I don't have them for sale anymore, contact Uglykid and he'll be able to get you some.
the only thing that i don't like about them is that they play dead very well and sometime your tarntulas will not catch them because they don't move.
If you have the money, get some B. fumigata or B. discoidalis.

If i remember correctly I think that Uglykid is from Aptos, CA, so you might be able to save yourself some shipping $

Thanks for the reply's, I am willing to bump my budget up a little for some more/better roaches. I will contact uglykid and see what he has. How long from when I get the dubias do you think I will have nymphs? many thanks.

It will all depend on a few factors: temperature, food, adult females and males, and how comfortable they are.
i only have a trio left and one of my females dropped two litters in a month and a half, while the other female had one litter within 22 days.
