native centipede -- what Sp. is it?

My dad noticed this little guy crawling across our living room floor, we have no idea what sp. it is. any help would be greatly appreciated!!! it's about 3". it is now my new pet!!! lol ~ nice centipede huh?

hmmm.... yes, one of my friends who is MAJORLY into pedes himself told me that it looked like one of those two, which confuses me -- i didn't know we had scolopendra here in North Carolina!!! i see these red ones all the time, and they always have a blue head and posterior, but this is the first blue/grayish one ive ever seen around here!
