yea, I've seen the same pictutes on an english site. I think they were just translated.

these pictures have been circulating on the internet for several years. There is a gas station about 5 miles from my house that has a pic of the brown recluse and two of these bite pics along with a warning "Beware brown recluse bites can kill!"
I wanted to laugh when I read that, I have never heard of a death by a brown recluse other than maybe an infant or something but whatever.

I disabled woman in my town of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, about 8 or 10 years ago died of several recluse bites. She had apparently taken a blanket out of the closet and added it to her bed, went to sleep, and was found dead 9 days later with (I want to say 13, but can't remember exactly how many) bites all over her. They can kill, but I believe the cause of death was secondary. In other words, it wasn't the venom alone. Some of the bites were to her chest and throat and the subsequent swelling blocked her airway. Unable to get to help, she suffocated.

Actually, I wouldn't be too surprised to find a Cheiracanthium or two in your general area (Hungary, according to your profile).
