Freshly molted @ 5".
Its been burrowed for a month now, so I thought its time to dig her out and show her off.
One of my finest T's. Raised her from 1"..

Enjoy,
Ernie

Sweet! I have a sling that is still slightly smaller than my thumb nail. Do they burrow and stay hidden alot? How long did it take to grow from 1" to its current size?

That was really the first time its burrowed. It would always hang out in its hide,or on top of it, then all of a sudden it buryed its hide, water bowl and everything else in its cage and went underground.:?
I'm thinking cause of the pending molt it was getting ready for.
I dug everything out, and repacked the substrate, so we'll see if it goes back down.

She's been with me for 1 year this July, so IMO they grow pretty fast.
She's a very sweet girl. Doesn't even kick hair at me. And loves to eat two or three crickets at a time..

Great T,

Ernie

They look like a cross between a curlyhair and an A. genic. to me. How big do they end up getting?

She's a beauty, Mr. T. Really love this species. Such great eaters and big time fast growers.

The care sheet I have says they grow to 6.5" - 8"..
It also says they have a medium growth rate. I must feed mine too much or often. Its a female so I dont worry about it. :)

I think they're very pretty spiders. I had one that was
supposed to be a female. I had named it Xena until "she"
molted into "Xeno." I sent him to a friend of mine and
he never reproduced. Some day, I'll have better luck! :)

P.S. Genics are beautiful too and tend to more fun to watch
when eating time comes. My Predator just LOVEEESSSSS
to eat. The Braz. Black/White tends to be much shyer about
eating in front of me.
