I received some pedes from the philippines the last few weeks. For most species I don't have an ID yet so if you have an idea let me know :)

Man that millipede is simply stunning! Good millies seem so difficult to get ((to me at least)) in the US.

It's funny that I also have a fireleg millipede(look at my millipede post), but mine are jet black bodied. I have the same pede as number 3 from there and it was Identified as a sc.spinosissima.

The millipede seems to be a member of the family Harpagophoridae if it has an appendage or spike on the last segment.
I have a list of all centipedes from the phillipines and I think with key to the species. Maybe this could help you to identify them. I'm at work but i will look later...

In My opinion,last one looks like cormocemphalus sp, or meybe Cupipes mixtus :rolleyes: ?

good to see you're still into the pede-stuff :)
nice new additions from Jeff i asume ;)

about the ID's,
just wondering,
are there any taxonomic differences between #2, #3, #4 or 5 beside the coloration ?
