I kept my female Hogna Lenta wolf spider for about 3 weeks now. Today, she destroyed her original burrow and dug right under it, and covered the top so the burrow had no exits. I was rather confused by this action until 3 hours later, she made an egg-sack! She was wild-caught, so did she mate in the wild, or did she just made an unfertile egg-sack? Hopefully the eggs are fertile. Is there a way to tell if they are fertile or not? Thanks!

If it is fertile, here's what to do with the babies, try your hardest to catch each individual baby and put them in tiny containers and feed them fruit flies, then sell each one.

There is no proper way to tell they are fertile since she carries them around attached to her spinnerets either way.
I guess you have to wait two to four weeks.

Edit: what colour morph?

There is a red, white and brown morph and as far as i know it is not related to the enviroment like hogna maderiana that will go darker if you keep it more humid.
