My Scolopendra subspinipes is laying eggs

Leave it alone for about a month. Just make sure that it has water and don't disturb it. You should hopefully have plings at that point. You'll have to wait about another 30 days for them to molt and be able to take food.

This is odd, my subspinipes ate her eggs after laying it. What is the problem?

Could have been any number of things.

She could have gotten disturbed.

They could have been infertile.

The conditions could have been bad.

ETC, ETC, ETC.
