Hi all, this is not the classic plea for help because my rosehair stopped eating:D :D I am simply interested in how long i can expect to wait before my 3 inch rosehair molts...it refused a cricket today several times and i put my finger right by it i was so confident it wouldnt eat, and i was right (thank God lol). So it has officially been cut off food until it molts....i may try once more in a months time or so if nothing happens. I understand this species is very unpredictible, but i dont know if 3 inch juviniles like mine can even afford to fast for 6 months like some people's rosies.

Any insight appreciated, i am very anxiously anticipating a molt.

I had one go off feed for about four months, before it molted. Now it takes cickets with no problems.

You cant really say that its because of a moult, I have a rose thats going on five months without eating, sometimes they just decide to fast, just make sure that it has enough water to keep it happy.

my 1" rosea fasted for almost 2 months before its last molt, but of course it still drank water, so I did not worry.
