I came home to check on my girl and I found she had melted but she wasn't on her back, but her side with 2 legs still stuck in the harden molt I tried to help moisten the area in hopes she would be able to pull them out. She tried but unfortunately one of her legs seem to be deformed and the other she seemed to pop off I'm very scared I'm gonna lose my baby can anyone offer advice?

Dan is a fellow differently abled spider. He is doing fine with 7 legs and 1 that doesn't function like the rest.

I was so scared she was my first and only spider, she has become my best friend and loves freaking people out with me but I'm worried so far she's had to have help molting everytime though I do everything I'm told to do she's about 6 now. It looks like (after examining the molt) that she got caught at a bad angle causing her leg to get stuck at a joint that didn't release :'( what can I do to try to avoid things like this in the future? What can I do to make it better for her?

Sometimes they do stupid things like us (me absolutely included) and molt in precarious positions. It doesn't matter if it has a few bum legs. It's not chasing wild prey in horrible conditions. It has you to crush bug heads so it thinks it is capturing a weak prey. You are it's advocate now. But you always have been. You decide the life it gets to live. We will help as best we can. But if you neglect it, we may burn you into the ground.

I keep wanting to check on her but I know messing with the cage or bothering her can stress her out, she's not moving much (I just assumed it's from the lost limb and just molting) but like I said she's my baby and I'm really worried. Her blood seemed to had stopped I've read they have a tendency to also get rid of legs due to a bad molt....is this true? Do I have to keep an eye out for that?

No need to worry for that here I've done as much research as I can and have kept her alive the last 6 years so I hope I'm doing something right. I would like to learn more however I'm just worried on who to trust for advice, by any chance can someone point me in the right direction?

It will adapt pretty quickly with a few missing legs. I’ve had a few myself (spider, not me) and in a couple of molts they’ll re-grow. New legs will look smaller, but as it molts they should look like the rest eventually.

After you have exhausted all avenues then Reddit is pretty much the heat gun to the mainboard that you want.

Agree, patience. I had one T come with a missing leg, but I also accidentally closed an enclosure on one. Worst feeling ever. They can be pretty resilient, yet so fragile. This community has been, and is, an awesome network and resource.

Thank you guys again this has been one hell of an experience and we are yet out of the woods I'm keeping positive energy cause I know she needs it. I'll keep you guys posted

Moving around another so I hope that's a good sign still no bleeding so I'm definitely hopeful. It was mentioned they grow back what should I look for in that for future reference?

The next time it molts the missing leg will be partially regenerated. It'll be smaller, and might not be the same color as the rest. Depending on the size of the spider (age doesn't tell us much), it can take 2 or 3 molts to fully regenerate.
