my pinktoe has eaten!!

i came back from a party and found a nice web with a cricket in his fangs, he was eating a cricket!! when is the next time i should feed it, he ate it yesterday(saturday), thanks for helping me out guys!!

Hmmm...if he ate Saturday and he's a 3"er I'd recommend (assuming you're using large crix) maybe one more in 3 or 4 days. Keep in mind that you can experiment on your own with how often it will eat, just make sure to remove any prey that remains uneaten by the next day.

If you explore the forums a little, you can find a lot of past discussions/debates on how often you should feed your spider. You can probably wait at least two days, though some would say more. It varies from keeper to keeper how often the Tarantulas are fed, but the spider knows what he/she's doing; it won't overeat.

Thats exciting your pinktoe ate. Sure makes you feel better, does'nt it?

My ate for the first time a couple days ago. I'm going to give it a try again today. Hope it eats.. I'll let you know.

The only time my spiders do not eat is before a moult so I never have to worry about it.
