Could the first pede be the Tanzanian Yellow-Legged? I have it on my wish list and it does have the same scientific name as yours pictured above.

I'm not so sure, I just took a look at some pics and I guess I can see some similarity, but I still think this is not what you are thinking of. Even though I'm not big on trusting pet stores, the one where I got my pede from said that it's from vietnam, plus other pics of S. Subspinipes seem to indicate that this one is from vietnam.

It probably is a Vietnamese. Are there kind of brownish bands on the terminal legs? Those bands are characteristic of the Tanzanian yellow leg.

The first one is indeed a Vietnamese. Scolopendra Subspinipes. I think the Tanzanian Yellow leg is a morsitans subspecies or something of the sort
