Well, I already introducted my "Moxie". This one is "Oscar". Oscar was found as a stray that had been shot in the face with bullet fragments lodged in the roof of his mouth. He lost his bottom jaw as a result of the accident. What a fighter! I am SOOOO proud of him!!!

He's a beauty. Are you sure the gunshot was an accident or did somebody intentionally do that to him??? There was a time when I did not like cats (a long, long time ago), but I would never have done something like that. It's to bad things like that happen. But now he's with the right person {D

Thanks! :D

Ummm...I'd like to think it was an accident, but I kinda know better. People are cruel.

forget the cat what about those geese, that is cool, oh yeah, cat, people are shooting stray dogs around here, a neighbor(rancher) came to me last year to make sure he knew my cats as he was going to start shooting cats as they multiplied in his barn and peopl drop kittens off all the time and you use to be able to drop them off at the shelter, now you have to pay to do that, so people drop them off "out there"

Beautiful cat. And another uplifting rescue story.  I personally like male kitties more than females; they tend to be less stuck-up and more playful (and dog-like lol). Nice haircut kitty! We had to partially shave one of my cats since its fur was so matted.

Pretty kitty. But I have to ask, with no bottom jaw how is he eating?
I have one that is near and dear. I would cry like a baby if anything happened to him. I had him brought to me from a hog farm. He was found in the middle of the hog unit on top of a post. His eyes matted closed. Ear mites worse than I ever seen and could barely move.
I spent alot of time with him and got him all better. He was about seven weeks old. Took 7 weeks before he could open his eyes. Thats where he got the name squints. I took my bed down and put my mattress on the floor so he could sleep with me.
Now he follows me everywhere. whweres a pic of him now.

He tries to groom himself, but isn't very good at it. I take him to the groomer for the "lion cut" every few months.

He has one tooth left on each side in the back. He pushes the food to the back of the bowl and scoops it in. He's 17 lbs., so he's doing okay at it! :D

He looks like he's not missed to many meals. I think cats are amazing animals. They will if given half a chance survive just about anything.
