I just got a new A. australis. I haven't added a new friend in sometime and always liked the looks of this type. I am quite experienced with scorpions and have created a nice desert set-up for him with plenty of hiding places. Besides the obvious care I must take, any advice to help me make his stay 100% enjoyable and healty. I would like to know especially about humidity and if I should leave open water for him, being he is a dry region beast.
Thanks a million.

if the picture is on your harddrive, right above where it says "submit reply" when youre going to post, you will see a box taht says "Browse" Click on that and double click on the picture. also, make sure the pic is no bigger than 640x640 or else you wont be able to post it.

if its in a webpage, click on the "IMG" tag above where you write in the post. then put the link in there and it will post.

I leave water dishes for all my scorpions, though the smaller dishes used for the dry species will occasionaly run dry. The way I see it, it can't hurt but it can surely help, especialy since we can't recreate the conditions of deep burrows.

Cheers,
Dave
