My KB is mooning me!

Um...ok....

I got bored one day so i decided to takce a chopstick and disturb the earth at my King Baboons sealed entrance...i came home last nite to find that all my other burrowers were fine, my cobalt chilling at her entrance, but this little prick was half in his burrow, with his full abdomen poking out like some mushroom...

He was like that till this morning, but just before i left for work, he popped out of the burrow...i also just realised that he had finally decided to take a cricket i threw in...his first in quite a while...maybe a month plus...

Anyway, anyone know anyting about the mooning thing?...it is quite cute tho

Um, it seems as though you teased it. That's why it's butt was in the air. When a tarantuladoes that, it means that they're getting ready to throw hairs at you. So I wouldn't be advised to tease your spider again. Especially a King Baboon.

Doh! I forgot about that! I'm still learning about the different tarantula species myself.
