I was on their site and was considering ordering from them till I experienced a few things while looking into it.
They are from Hong Kong and me being from the USA, I do not think that is a good idea as I don't know anything about getting something like that imported
They also Have this statement on the site: Due to the impact of COVID, we are unable to ship live animals. To set the shipping cost to US$999.9 is a tactic, not the actual cost.

So if you are from the USA I don't think you will be ordering from here as I experienced.

Has anyone ordered from My Home Nature? I saw some scorps on My Home Nature (www.myhomenature.com), and am wondering if anyone has ordered from them, and if they are a scam or not? Thanks for your help!

Not a scam, but also can’t ship internationally as they say. My package got stopped at customs and was redirected back to them. They fully refunded my money though. So not a scam. Just not set up with permits.

I've ordered plants from them, no problem. They have a nice selection of crabs and they cover any losses.

Yeah, their website says they are based in Hong Kong. So you would have to be careful about what you order. I would think tarantulas and other animals especially would require permitting by the US government.I have to believe that would be expensive. Also I wonder how long it would take to get from Hong Kong to the US.

They skip the permitting. I know it's not right, and I am not condoning it. But that's how they shipped stuff to me many years ago. I'm positive they don't care if packages get confiscated or returned, and just ship out a new one or process a refund.

They've been around for almost a decade I think, and they're still doing it.

ADMIN NOTE:

Purchasing from ANY "brown boxer" has the potential for your shipment to be confiscated, for you to be fined and for you to be arrested. It is NEVER worth the risk to you AND the hobby.

If they are, in fact, brown boxing (shipping while disregarding any required permits for the import/export Countries), then there is really nothing further to be said.
