Dying for a few months?? Shame on you!

I can tell you that the mature females in my colony do not hiss. Also if they're slow/not active they could probably use an increase in the temperature of whatever you keep them in, just be careful of dehydration.

I raise them for feeders and keep my breeding colony at 88-90°F.

Yeah shame on me alright but I just thought she was getting old but I was still worried anyway I'll try that thanks!

Older cockroaches do slow down and can have trouble walking on loose substrate, so either make sure it's packed down, remove it, or put down something to walk on. There's not much else you can do, other than keep conditions stable and don't hassle her. Getting old isn't being sick and there's no recovery. Just a gentle slowdown until the end.
