These pics do not whatsoever give credit to the beauty of an H.lividum..AT ALL!!!! She is purple more than blue, very beautiful!

You could not tell really just the swelling because the bite marks were under my thumbnail.. teh sweling went away after an hour.

What a gorgeous girl. Very healthy looking, too.

btw, are you using flash? I understand flash really shows that blue off.

I wish I could get mine out for some pics.

Thanks :)Yes she is very healthy! No I am not using a flash :( I need to though.. this camera just plain out sucks.. I ahd to get a battery lamp and anotehr lamp to get even this quality... it is meant for pictures outside during the day.

What I'd like to know is, how did you get it out of its enclosure?
And moreover, how did you keep it from running off while you were taking the pics?

i used that white box thing in the pic to get her out.. she just did not want to move.. That was the only way I could get a decent pic. That is a good question because she is a speed devil sometimes.. but other than threat poses she was behaving well.

well h.lividum will not run like crazy if you let it loose. it will more likely to fight back than run away.
