Same here. Its been 4 hours since she flipped, and nothing has changed. She is still laying on her back like a drunk suburban house wife. G porteri sure do love to take their time doing things.
She is a pampered lady. She sits in the same spot, day in and day out. Food is delivered directly to her home, and the lazy bum doesnt even pay rent! That's pre-molt?! Looks fresher than my post-molt. Not fair!
She reciprocates with love!. Mines a blithering ingrate. Will refuse any food that is not "of the correct size"She is a pampered lady. She sits in the same spot, day in and day out. Food is delivered directly to her home, and the lazy bum doesnt even pay rent!
I know that I get another one after my Old Lady ^^.I love G. porteri. They're kind of boring and I can see why they're not for everyone but I'm a fan. Congratulations on the successful molt!
Same. My girl is rarely in her hide. She was my first tarantula and I read how it was a pet rock but I never got that from her. She was always engaging somehow, and could absolute tear up prey in a way that would make my A. geniculata proud.I know that I get another one after my Old Lady ^^.
Boring is my Phlogiellus baeri . I only can see an empty enclosure all the time, no chance to see the spider. My G. porteri is sitting every day on another place, but I can see her. Not boring at all .
I have my G. porteri now ~ 8 or 9 years, she molted only three times, the last time was about three or four years ago. She is eating only every few months. I think she is a very old girl ^^. But she still is beautiful. I love the shining carapace and the golden spot on her back. She is my Avatar ^^.I've had my large Rosie for about 3.5 years and she's never molted. You have a great looking rose hair there.
