Hi All,

So I have never considered keeping a centipede, purely because they kinda freak me out a little  but was given the opportunity to take ownership of my first one.

The enclosure is only temporary, and I am busy creating another.

Cormocephalus nitidus
Size, unknown.

Cheers.

Sorry that I can't give much advice since I don't keep centipedes, but that's a lovely specimen! I've never heard of this species before, and it has great colours

Thanks! It does have some stunning colouration.

It's a species from South Africa.

Nice! Cormocephalus are pretty underrated in my opinion. In fact, I'd say that as a genus, they're the best beginner pedes. They aren't too hard to look after, get to manageable sizes, and generally have calm dispositions and mild/mediocre venom.

Nice niditus! Due to their dry habitat they can handle considerable dryness, just make sure to add a water dish.
