not exactly sure what you call it, studying wars is one of my favorite subjects. And I have not figured out why. The WW11 photos are just exquisite. And guess what? no image stabilization, autofocus, heck even the thought of micro processors was still 50 years away.

As a kid we would visit the Brauns. BORING. He'd set his camera up and... and and and .... Maybe wait all day until the light was just right.
His book with Cavagnaro, Living Water, is amazing. More so in that it took something like 20 years to compile.

I'm in awe. I am blessed to have come across the WWII photos. Coming from German / Italian ancestry I literally had chills. Thank you.
