My baby scorpions wont eat

So basically my brood of baby scorpions wont even attempt to eat pinhead crickets i throw in they just run away. Any particular reason this might be?

Offer pre-killed. Babies will happily scavenge.

Crush the heads of the pinheads and leave them in there 24 hours the babies will scavenge them.

Have you tried wingless fruit flies?
