I would say it looks like a female, Rapunzel! I can see the lip of the epigastric furrow, and the booklungs look to be angled like some females have in the species Brachypelma, and some other species as well.........Congratulations! I have a fiesty female redknee that is now 4", and 2 1/2 years old.........I purchased it unsexed at 2", 1 yr. old, and it is one of the queens of my collection!

Looks like a female to me. See how far apart the booklungs are set. My males are much closer together than yours.
I can also see the lip on her furrow.
Edit the pic if you have time,and lighten it up a tad. We might be able to see more detail.

you mean I got two in a row? YAY!
Now, if my a. genic turns out female I will be the ULTIMATE happy...=D but that lil hairflicker never goes on the side of the glass, so I may never know...I know, the molt, but it is always mutilated by the time I can get to it.
